No. Our approach, including Airflow when recommended, is one of the most comfortable techniques available today. There’s no manual scraping and no pain.
How long does it take?
The appointment takes usually 45 minutes, depending on your overall oral condition.
I have sensitive teeth. Can I still do it?
Yes. Actually our methods are especially suited for sensitive teeth, using warm water, controlling the intensity of the scaling and gentle cleaning that does not damage the enamel.
Is anesthesia necessary?
Not needed. The treatment is completely painless — but if you’re a very sensitive person, we will find the best option specific for you.
How often should I have a dental cleaning?
It depends on your mouth, your habits, and your goals. We’ll tell you what’s best for you after we evaluate.
Will I see results immediately?

Usually yes, but we’ll guide you on what’s best in your case.
Is this covered by insurance?
We don’t have direct agreements with insurance companies, as most in Portugal unfortunately don’t recognise the true value of this treatment.
However, if your plan includes a reimbursement option, we’ll provide a detailed invoice so you can submit your claim.
Please note: we can’t guarantee your insurer will approve the reimbursement — it depends on your contract with them.
